Darwin Leuba is the Auditor of O’Hara Township, first elected in 2017. He exposed millions of dollars in county-enabled tax evasion through his audit of UPMC’s private parking lots, and he has won 13 cases against the current County Controller to require greater transparency in contract compliance.

He is the only County Controller candidate refusing campaign donations from UPMC, Highmark, and/or corporate PACs. A second-generation Taiwanese American, he graduated from Fox Chapel Area High School before earning a degree in Computer Science at Yale. Darwin is also a Teamster (Local 238).

The Democratic Primary is on Tuesday, May 16th.
